The FynArts Festival has a rich history, originating as a tourism event in Hermanus to drive visitor traffic during the quiet winter season. It has since transformed into a prestigious arts festival, showcasing a diverse range of artistic expressions including music, visual arts, performing arts, literary arts, and culinary arts within the Greater Hermanus area. This evolution has solidified Greater Hermanus as a hub for the arts, attracting art enthusiasts and collectors to the region.

Harbour House Hotel has been a staunch supporter of the festival, contributing in numerous ways. For instance, the hotel has provided accommodation for twelve student interns from the University of Stellenbosch, to assist throughout the festival, allowing them to gain hands-on experience in event management and logistics.

Additionally, the Harbour House Hotel together with the stunning Spencer Contemporary Art Gallery will play host to the wine tasting events this year, promising a fusion of wine and art, and at the same time, elevating the festival’s sophistication.

The management and staff of Harbour House Hotel are delighted to be involved in this esteemed event and are dedicated to providing assistance and support as needed.
