Our relationship with Village n Life started 5 years ago, when our mutual love for cars allowed us to cross paths. We were fortunate enough to strike up a good business relationship and are proud that various Village n Life hotels have hosted Lindenberg Racing, Shelby South Africa and Road To Race SA on many occasions. We always book our international guests into their remarkable hotels when visiting SA as we know they will get the best service and experience with Village n Life.
For the past 10 years Lindenberg Racing has been a strong supporter of the Knysna Simola Hillclimb, which lead the team to partner with the Pezula Nature Retreat when it was acquired by Village n Life. Since then the team and our partners have had memorable stays and great experiences whilst staying at Pezula. Our experiences with Village n Life staff are a cut above the rest, in particular those at Pezula go out of their way to give us a top class guest experience and Lindenberg Racing are hugely proud of the relationship that exists between us. Some of our team members are avid golfers and they had nothing but praise for Pezula’s golf course and it’s amenities.
Pezula Nature Retreat recently made some renovations where they added a car museum to the hotel, this is a lovely attraction in Knysna, that is an absolute must visit and boasts some special history of the motor vehicle trade in SA.
2021 was our largest team compliment yet for a Hillclimb. There were between 20 and 30 Lindenberg Racing team members at the hotel at any one time. We were treated like absolute royalty, the food, service, and staff were simply incredible. Our Hillclimb vehicles were given space to park underground in a safe area to protect them, there were kids play areas to keep the little ones entertained and a superb spa facility to treat the ladies in the team.
Pezula Nature Retreat have always gone above and beyond to ensure that guests feel COVID safe at all times. The staff came to learn names of all the guests very quickly and made the experience very personalized for our entire team. Nothing was ever too much to ask for or a problem and if they didn’t have the solution there, they found one and made a plan to assist us as quick as possible.
The Village n Life resorts are all based in beautiful and iconic parts of South Africa with so much on offer. There are many tourist attractions, local cuisines and such beauty to explore, you simply cannot go wrong with any of them.

“Pezula Nature Retreat suites is all about luxury and location. Our large, spacious and elegantly decorated suite (with fireplace, full bathroom and mini kitchen) was located aloft the golf course with a sweeping view. Looking to the horizon the sea can be seen and an east coast sunrise over the water is definitely worth waking up a little bit earlier to behold.
The young ladies- SJ and Tanielle were exceptional. There was nothing that they didn’t jump to do for us and we had some tall orders, from car washing to having food prepared and delivered to the Simola Hillclimb event.
The gentleman at the concierge desk’s welcome was warm and friendly, he quickly and efficiently attended to us.
Breakfast croissants are not to be skipped and if you like chicken livers you will not be disappointed.”
